About HEAL
The HEALing power of horses
Hear from participants at an open house we hosted with our community partner, NOVA Veterans, talk about their experiences working with horses in equine assisted learning sessions.
The Ins and Outs of HEAL
In 2021 we hosted our annual event virtually due to the Covid-19 pandemic. If you want to learn more about HEAL, why equine therapy works, how it works and how we run our program you’ll find answers to most commonly asked questions here.
Join-Up
Join-Up is a unique activity we do with an individual and a single horse. It is used to help participants better understand non-verbal communication and to experience the power of connection that can occur between themselves and a horse. This activity is especially beneficial for individuals who struggle with human connection, vulnerability and communication.
